Mercedes-Benz and Riot Games reveal League of Legends championship rings

Automotive brands are not a rare sight in the world of esports. Big-name companies like Aston Martin, Audi, Cadillac, Ford, Kia, and many others have sponsored both teams and tournaments alike throughout the years. Riot Games, the developers behind League of Legends, the game that has quickly grown into one of the most popular esports titles around, announced their partnership with luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz.

This is the Greatest Nissan That You've Never Heard About

The unicorn is a legendary creature that has been mentioned in texts and various works of art since ancient civilizations, that much is clear. An automotive unicorn, on the other hand, is a car that you can never see yourself owning, whether that’s because of its price or overall rarity. Everyone has their own automotive unicorn, spawned from our incredibly varied tastes in cars. Since I’m the one writing this, I’m gonna tell you about one of my unicorns.

There is nothing quite like reading a physical magazine

I’m left smiling at the Chopard ad on the back cover of Hagerty Drivers Club Issue 67. Caught in the moment, I mentally look back at the articles I’ve just read and smile. Over 100 pages of stories pulled straight from the fingers of automotive enthusiasts such as myself and framed beautifully within the pages of a magazine the size of a small painting. McKeel Hagerty said it best on the last page: “moments are those times that you revisit over and over in your dreams.

How Patrick Adair Bought Post Malone's 720S

Owning a supercar that once belonged to a celebrity is something that many automotive enthusiasts dream about. There’s something special, an allure if you will, about owning a piece of machinery that once belonged to one of the world’s top 1 percenters. For Patrick Adair though, that prospect never even crossed his mind when searching for a McLaren 720S to call his own. As luck would have it though, that’s exactly what he got when Post Malone’s very own 720S went up for sale back in April. As P

Rare Shades 5 is the exclusive event for the most exotic Porsche paint jobs

What is in a paint job? No, I’m not talking about the chemical composition of car paint or anything of the sort. I mean, what is it about a car’s paint that can make or break that car’s appeal to a person? I’d say it’s all about the soul and personality. There’s something about a blacked-out Murcielago with its bat wings extended or a mint green 964 that gives that car a certain “air” that only touches the hearts of some enthusiasts.

How posting pics and videos of cars made this man a social media sensation

It’s impossible to negate social media’s impact on our lives, particularly in the automotive space. Being able to immediately post a snapshot of exactly what’s happening at that second and share it with millions of people across the world gives us at home an inside view of something we might not have been able to attend and gives the person that posted it their own audience. That all sounds fairly simple as a concept, but what does it take to really “make it”?

The Ferrari Club of America Annual Picnic is an Invite-only Automotive Blast

There’s nothing quite like a Ferrari. The heritage, the speed, and the global brand recognition that the brand holds are something that can never be replicated by the competition. Personally, Ferrari is the definition of what it means to be an “exotic car” and owning one is my top bucket list item. That said, you can imagine my amazement and sheer excitement when I was invited to the annual picnic organized by the Sacramento chapter of the Ferrari Club of America.

How RADWood went from friends in puffer vests to the US' biggest celebration of hoopties

If you’re even somewhat familiar with the car scene and the events around it, you’ve doubtlessly heard of RADWood (@radwoodofficial)! The one and only show that celebrates the forgotten automotive legends of the 1980s and 1990s has made waves since its inception in 2016, that much is clear. But how did it all start? Was it always this massive in popularity? I just had to know. To quench my thirst for knowledge, I talked to co-founder Brad to get the inside scoop on RADWood’s inception.

This ute Impreza WRX is a strangely appealing freak of nature

The concept of the ute, or a coupé utility vehicle, has been a lot more popular in other parts of the world than it has been in America. Australia seems to be the leader in ute production, likely because the concept originated in the land down under. But what does one do if they live in North America and they want or need a ute? They could look to the 1970s-1980s era of cars and get themselves something like a Chevrolet El Camino or a Ford Ranchero.

Car Trek 5 is all about dream cars and going fast

Driving, or even owning, your dream car is every car enthusiast’s ultimate goal in life. For Ed Bolian, Freddy Hernandez, and Tyler Hoover, both came true thanks in part to the success of their YouTube channels and just a dash of the ol’ luck. Now imagine if the three musketeers of the YouTube automotive scene took their personal dream cars on a series of challenges that put them through their paces, almost broke them, and determined which one was the ultimate dream car?

Aston Martin celebrate 25th James Bond movie with a full-size Corgi DB5

With just one month until the release of No Time to Die, Aston Martin decided to celebrate the legendary British spy in style by releasing a full-size Corgi model of the famous Aston Martin DB5. Toymaker Corgi has produced replicas of most of the vehicles featured in James Bond movies starting with the 1964 release of Goldfinger. The original Goldfinger model car was produced in gold and proved to be so popular, it was retooled and re-released numerous times throughout the years.

Sentinels sign ElevenZ as sixth player

In a surprising turn of events, Sentinels announced that they signed a sixth player to their roster, Dyson “ElevenZ” Vandal. What’s interesting about this announcement is that ElevenZ has a lot in common with Tyson “TenZ” Ngo. First of all, eleven is a number higher than ten I think. Second, he looks a lot like TenZ but with a fabulous mustache that I wish I could pull off. Lastly, Dyson is very close to Tyson. Sentinels acquired TenZ on loan from Cloud9 Blue back in March.
